During its next edition the international trade fair will launch FITUR TALENT, a new monographic area that will highlight people, their talent, skills and professional qualification.

With a focus on specialisation, business and professionalisation, the next edition of FITUR, the International Tourism Fair organised by IFEMA, on January 22 – 26, 2020, at Feria de Madrid, presents its strongly enhanced B2B meeting programmes.

The upcoming edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2019, will present the Dominican Republic as a partner country, a destination that has continued to grow in recent years and which is currently a tourism leader in the Caribbean, with 6,2 million international tourists arriving in 2017, according to the Dominican Republic Central Bank.

The scale of business that FITUR achieves as one of the meetings with the greatest impact in the world tourism industry, which annually brings together more than 200,000 professionals and more than 10.000 companies from 165 countries, together with its ability to detect trends and business models, has inspired IFEMA, through the Madrid International Tourism Fair, to set up the FITURNEXT Observatory.

Madrid’s international tourism trade fair, FITUR will bring together the latest proposals in world tourism, with increased representation and effort from participating destinations linked to the positive figures for Spanish tourism in recent years.

Networking will be a focal point at the 36th International Tourism Trade Show (FITUR) with a range of initiatives and programmes aimed at fostering business relationships and commercial opportunities.

Organised by IFEMA, the show, which will run between January 20 – 24, 2016 in Madrid, will enable tourism professionals to exchange experiences and knowledge, learn about new strategies and keep abreast of the latest tools for gaining competitive advantages and market share.

Once again, tourism developments will be the hallmark of the event, hence the staging of programmes with a consolidated trajectory such as INVESTOUR Africa, which will promote a sustainable model for the economic development of the continent.

The FITUR Shopping and FITUR Health sections will also have their own business-to-business structures further enhancing the show’s business potential.
