Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has resumed its direct Athens and Cairo flights with scheduled operations having started July 01.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in coordination with the Indian Embassy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has operated and planned for upcoming charter repatriation flights carrying Indian nationals from Dammam International Airport to several cities in India such as Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mangalore and Cochin.

In line with national efforts aimed at combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in coordination with a number of Bahraini enterprises specialising in medical supplies, recently assisted in the importation of nine tons of medical items needed to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19, as well as general medications, medical equipment and hygienic products.

The medical drugs and equipment were chartered on special Gulf Air flights in an initiative spearheaded by Team Bahrain.

The collaboration between the national carrier and the local companies is to ensure the Kingdom possesses an abundant supply of medical drugs and equipment during this time to serve the shared goal of a safe and healthy community for all.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in response to the global outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 has recently introduced a bundle of ‘golden principles’ to maintain health and safety of its valued passengers and crew members.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and All Food Company, a Bahraini food supplier, imported approximately 4,000 kg worth of fresh produce from Europe using Gulf Air’s flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Gulf Air and the Royal Charity Organization recently celebrated raising USD91,904,16 since the successful launch of their passenger donations project.
