Gulf Air and the Royal Charity Organization recently celebrated raising USD91,904,16 since the successful launch of their passenger donations project.

Launched in September 2018, the initiative allowed passengers to donate coins or notes of any currency onboard Gulf Air flights. The project was launched by H.E. Zayed R. Alzayani, chairman, board of directors, Gulf Air, and H.E Mustafa Al-Sayed, secretary-general, Royal Charity Organization.

This ongoing initiative is aimed at activating social responsibility and allowing passengers to participate and contribute to charitable work, including supporting university students who are struggling with their tution fees.

The Gulf Air-RCO donation project is being held for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain and promotes the principle of community partnership to encourage travelers to donate excess money change by placing it in special envelopes that are located in seat pockets onboard Gulf Air flights. The airline would like to thank all of its passengers for their generosity and for making this campaign a success.
