Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched two weekly flights from Bahrain to Geneva, Switzerland, which commenced June 04, and operating throughout the summer to September 27.

The airline’s flights to Milan will become daily with this latest frequency increase, while Rome frequency will increase to three weekly flights, in response to the growing demand on its Italian destinations.

In line with Bahrain cloud first policy, Gulf Air has collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud services provider, to deliver a resilient infrastructure to handle the transition of the core IT systems from the airline’s headquarters to the AWS cloud solution which will be used in the unlikely case of emergencies and operational disruptions.
