The Oman Ministry of Tourism revealed that there has been a significant increase in the number of tourists who flocked to Dhofar during this year’s Salalah Khareef Festival, significantly boosting its ongoing efforts to position the Sultanate on the global tourism landscape by promoting the country as a popular international tourist destination.

Tourism arrivals to Oman will increase at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of five percent between 2018 and 2023 to 3,5 million, according to data released ahead of Arabian Travel Market 2019 (ATM), which takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 –May 01.
