Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, recently welcomed another batch of Bahraini pilots who joined the airline as second officers as part of the ongoing cooperation agreement between Gulf Air and Tamkeen.

Tamkeen is a semi-autonomous government agency in Bahrain. It aims to provide assistance and training to private-sector businesses while promoting the development of that sector. Gulf Air and Tamkeen signed a joint agreement in May aimed at enhancing opportunities for the training and employment of Bahrainis within the Kingdom’s aviation sector.

According to Gulf Air, the cooperation is tailored to the airline’s requirements and brings a value-added, unmatched training experience to Gulf Air’s aviation professionals.
