With more than 26 years of experience in the industry, Ruge has held positions in revenue, front office and executive office operations.

Ruge first began his career at InterContinental Frankfurt before moving on to lead a selection of Sofitel properties as general manager.

Ruge initially joined Kempinski in 2012 as hotel manager for Kempinski Hotel Airport in Munich, followed by general manager at Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan, China.
