Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) has recently announced the resumption of desert tours and related activities in the emirate with strict implementation of the precautionary measures and guidelines issued for desert tours and Sharjah tour operators.

H.E Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, minister of economy, UAE; H.E Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, minister of state for entrepreneurship and SMEs, UAE; and H.E Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, minister of state for foreign trade, UAE, recently met with H.E. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, chairman, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), to discuss areas of cooperation to support the country’s tourism sector.

The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) revealed that the emirate recorded a three percent growth in the number of hotel guests in 2019 as compared to 2018.

One million visitors visited Sharjah Light Festival over the 11 days the event was held, according to Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA).
