Emirates on July 05 made a landmark touchdown in Montréal, marking the start of its scheduled services to its second gateway in Canada.

Celebrating 15 years of successful partnership, the premiere American whiskey distiller Woodford Reserve has collaborated with Emirates to blend a unique limited-edition Bourbon that will be exclusively served on select Emirates flights throughout July.

Taking a step forward in its drive to offer customers the convenience and assurance of digitally enabled travel journeys, Emirates will require most passengers departing Dubai to use a mobile boarding pass instead of a printed paper version, which commenced May 15.

Emirates recently announced it will launch a new daily service from Dubai to Montréal, starting July 05. Montréal becomes Emirates’ second gateway in Canada, complementing its passenger services to Toronto, which have been operating to Ontario’s capital city since 2007.

Emirates has recycled more than 500,000 kilograms of plastic and glass over the course of 2022, by collecting discarded bottles onboard for repurposing. 500,000 kilograms is almost the same weight as a fully loaded Emirates flagship Airbus A380 aircraft.

 Emirates has operated its first milestone demonstration flight on a Boeing 777-300ER, powering one of its engines with 100 percent Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The flight took off from Dubai International Airport (DXB), and was commanded by Captain Fali Vajifdar and Captain Khalid Nasser Akram, flying for more than one hour over the Dubai coastline.

Gulf Air and Emirates have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a deeper commercial cooperation between both carriers.

Emirates, the Premier Partner and Official Airline of Expo 2020 Dubai, recently welcomed UAE Team Emirates to its Pavilion. 

Emirates in coordination with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) have introduced additional precautions.
