Airport International Group announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) - for the first time in its history - welcomed 9,201,269 passengers (PAX) in 2023, registering a 17.4 percent increase against 2022 figures.

Amidst the ongoing recovery from the global pandemic and subsequent challenges within the air transport industry, Airport International Group has recorded noteworthy achievements in terms of traffic growth, global connectivity, decarbonization and customer experience during 2022.

According to Airport International Group, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) had welcomed 1,330,202 passengers (PAX) by the end of March (Q1) of this year - marking a 195,4 percent surge and 30,9 percent decline against 2021 and 2019 figures, respectively.

During a media roundtable held on July 12 in the presence of Jordan’s Ministry of Transport representatives, Airport International Group unveiled the key findings and conclusions of a comprehensive study aimed at assessing the economic and social impact of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) on the national economy and local community.

Over the course of the first six months of this year (H1), Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 3,884,518 passengers, registering a 7.6 percent year-on-year increase, according to figures released by Airport International Group.

Airport International Group is to receive an honorary award from Airport Council International (ACI) in recognition of the exceptional customer services offered at Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport.

Airport International Group revealed January passenger figures for Queen Alia International Airport, recording a 1.6 percent rise over the same month in 2016.
