Mohamed Raslan, head, central administration, ministry of labour and social affairs, and Simon Stamper, director of operations, Africa and area general manager, InterContinental Hotels Group Cairo Citystars, signed the protocol.
According to the signed protocol, the ministry will support IHG Academy activities dedicated to help students learn the basics of hospitality and tourism through on job training, which prepares them for professional competition and enriches the labour market with skilled individuals.
Additionally, IHG Academy will organise the training programme for more than 50 students per each programme cycle which take two months. After that, graduated students receive their certificates having completed this two-month training in different hotel sections.
