With a career that spans over 20 years in the hospitality sector at some of the world’s leading hotel groups, more than half of which has been with InterContinental Hotels Group, in locations including Egypt, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Zaki brings a wealth of experience and hospitality culture values to his new role.
Previously, area general manager at Crowne Plaza Dubai, Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, and Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi Downtown, Zaki first joined InterContinental Abu Dhabi in 2001 in the front office department before rising up the ranks within InterContinental Hotels Group. He has collective experiences in city hotels and resorts, and in his new role, Zaki will be in charge of day to day operation of InterContinental Cairo Citystars along with guest experience as well as InterContinental brand standards implementation.
