Merckx brings over 20 years of travel industry experience with extensive knowledge of digital strategy and distribution.
He first joined the hotelier in 2013, and served as senior director of e-business development and later became vice president of digital marketing.
Merckx will now lead the marketing strategy for his assigned regions encompassing digital marketing, guest engagement and loyalty, customer relationship management as well as e-commerce for the Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED and Park Inn by Radisson brands.
