Koutsikos joins Travelport from Qlik, a leader in visual analytics, where he spent more than six years in leadership roles including, most recently, vice president, Middle East, Africa, Mediterranean, Eastern Europe and the Baltics.

In 2018, he led his regional team to achieve double digit growth and secure a record number of a market defining new business wins.

Prior to his time with Qlik, Koutsikos held senior roles, with a focus on the MEA region, at leading software companies including Tecnotree, a global provider of telecom IT solutions, and Nuance Communications, a provider of voice and language solutions for businesses and consumers.

At Travelport, Koutsikos will hold responsibility for leading the company’s operations across MEA. He will be based in the company’s office in Dubai, UAE, which acts as its headquarters for the sub-region. He will report into Mark Meehan, MD Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Travelport.

Koutsikos replaces Matthew Powell, who has been appointed to a newly formed global role, head of agency excellence, based out of the company’s global headquarters in the UK.
