This collaboration is one of many between the State of Qatar and Russia, which are this year jointly celebrating the Year of Culture Qatar-Russia 2018, and highlights the airline’s belief in art as a universal language with the power to unite people across cultures.

This year’s event features a special exhibition entitled What We are Made Of showcasing the work of pioneering Qatari artists using a variety of materials, including dried palm leaf, wood, steel, aluminium and concrete. The second portion of the exhibition will feature a selection of sculptures and installations by leading contemporary Qatari female artists.
