Kattan started his career in his home country before progressing his career through Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

He brings a wealth of experience established in the executive role for many years, and a diverse background across the UAE and the Middle East; specialist roles, openings, resort and complex management.

In his new role, Kattan will be responsible for leading the kitchen teams and the hotel’s entire culinary operations which will include the hotel’s signature restaurant Certo, Chef’s House, Tamanya Terrace and media city’s favourite Sports Bar, ICON Bar, Chef Hewill also oversee the entire meeting and events operations, outside catering and in-room dining.
