Capacity grew 14.8 percent compared to 2015, causing load factor to fall 1.4 percentage points to 75.6 percent.

On a global level, interest for travel rose 4.6 percent year-on-year, registering the slowest pace since January 2015.

Meanwhile, capacity increased 4.9 percent with load factor slipping 0.3 percentage points to 79.1 percent.
