The inaugural 5i50 Oman will occur in November and IRONMAN 70.3 Oman will take place on March 09, 2019.

IRONMAN, a Wanda Sports Holdings Company together with Triathlon Middle East and supported by the Oman Ministry of Tourism, announced iconic triathlon competition IRONMAN 70.3 will be held in the capital city Muscat.

The stakeholders noted that just as a triathlon celebrates the fusion of swimming, cycling and running, the Sultanate of Oman fuses Middle Eastern culture with modern, western lifestyles, creating what they described as a perfect destination for IRONMAN 70.3.

Oman will also host its first ever 5i50 triathlon on November 18. The 1.5 km swim, 40 km cycle and 10 km run is considered good preparation for IRONMAN 70.3.
