The team comprised of 11 participants, one among them is a Qatari student Ahmed Yussef Al Hail who is continuing his studies at MGIMO in Russia.

The ambassador of Qatar to the Russian Federation, H.E. Fahad Bin Mohamed Al-Attiya, along with Hassan Al Ibrahim, assistant secretary general, Qatar Tourism Council, and other dignitaries welcomed the rallyists who arrived in Qatar during a reception held in their honor, to celebrate the success of Moscow-Doha Rally in the world of rallying and introduce it to the motor sports aficionados in town in the presence of VIP and media representatives.

On this occasion, Al-Attiya, said, “I am delighted to welcome the participants of the Moscow-Doha Rally in Qatar. With the successful run of the maiden Rally, we take pride in announcing that it will now be an annual event, which will leave its imprint on the global rally map.”
