As part of its preparations for the ramp up of passenger flights, Dubai Airports has announced a strategic partnership with OSN, one of the region's leading entertainment provider, to give passengers at Dubai International (DXB) complimentary access to OSN's new streaming app, from July 14 of this year.

Dubai Airports today welcomed the resumption of scheduled operations by foreign carriers at Dubai International (DXB). 

During an interview with aviation industry consultant John Strickland, during ATM Virtual, Joszef Varadi, CEO, Wizz Air, confirmed his ambitions for the low-cost carrier’s impending move to operate out of Abu Dhabi.

During the opening session of Arabian Travel Market’s inaugural virtual event, ATM Virtual, aviation industry veteran Tim Clark, president, Emirates Airline, had outlined the impact of COVID-19 on the aviation industry, as well as the measures implemented by the company in response to the pandemic.

Air Arabia recently reported a profitable first quarter (January to March) of the current year despite COVID-19 impact on the carrier’s first quarter financial and operational performance.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, on April 23 announced that it has received its Air Operating Certificate (AOC), which allows it to start operating from Abu Dhabi as the fifth UAE national airline.
