Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, announced the appointment of Vincent Coste as the airline’s new chief commercial officer, effective September.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), launched an initiative to allow passengers to donate coins or notes of any currency onboard Gulf Air flights.

Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, recently welcomed another batch of Bahraini pilots who joined the airline as second officers as part of the ongoing cooperation agreement between Gulf Air and Tamkeen.

H.E. Justin Siberell, US ambassador to Bahrain, was recently welcomed to Gulf Air’s headquarters and met with Krešimir Kučko, chief executive, Gulf Air, and Waleed Abdulhameed Al Alawi, deputy CEO, Gulf Air.

Gulf Air’s first Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner, delivered to Bahrain on May 11, is due to be operated on regional routes, before being deployed on the London Heathrow route on June 15.

Gulf Air, in partnership with OAG, a global provider of digital flight information, had launched an online Flight Status Facility on the airline’s official website, providing booked passengers with real-time information on their Gulf Air flights.
