Hamad International Airport (HIA) marked seven successful years as an award-winning leading global travel hub. To date, HIA has processed more than 200 million passengers and 13 million tonnes of cargo and is consistently rated as one of the top airports in the world.

Hamad International Airport (HIA), managed by MATAR, the Qatar Company for Airports Management and Operation, has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, following an extensive assessment of the Airport’s Information Security Management System by Bureau Veritas in October 2020.

Effective February 15, Etihad Airways will recommence passenger flights from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, to Doha, Qatar, subject to the applicable government approvals. The service will operate daily using an Airbus A320 and a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Qatar Airways is now offering 100 days of free on-board Super Wi-Fi connectivity to all passengers, in celebration of the airline equipping more than 100 of its state-of-the-art aircraft with high-speed broadband.
