Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, took wings on July 14 with direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi with Alexandria and Sohag in Egypt.

Low cost carrier Air Arabia Egypt, part of Air Arabia Group, recently launched a new route linking Sohag, Egypt to Kuwait.

Hamed El Chiaty, chairman, Travco Group International, announced the sale of 50 percent shares of Air Arabia Egypt.
