Between January and September, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 6,542,539 passengers, indicating a 5,5 percent year-to-date (YTD) increase in passenger traffic compared with the same period last year, according to statistics released by Airport International Group.

Royal Jordanian (RJ) has operated 448 extra flights, including charter flights since the beginning of this summer, in addition to the airline’s scheduled flights.
