The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) completed the first ever Amazing Thailand Roadshow to Saudi Arabia, following a return of cordial Saudi-Thai relations after 32 years. A total of 67 tourism businesses from Thailand took part in the roadshow, which included two events – one in Jeddah on May 15 and one in Riyadh on May 17.

The first United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) regional office was officially opened today in Riyadh by UNWTO Secretary General, Zurab Pololikashvili and the Saudi Minister for Tourism, H.E. Ahmed Al Khateeb at an event attended by regional tourism ministers and industry leaders.

Lumi, the car rental business of Seera Group, is expanding its retail service network in Saudi Arabia, having won the bid to open counters at Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport, Ta'if Regional Airport and Al-Baha Domestic Airport in Saudi Arabia. These join the current network of 8 airport counters and the total network of 26 branches in the region.

AlUla Old Town has welcomed its first visitors back after a three year hiatus for extensive restoration and conservation in sections of the town’s tightly packed stone and mudbrick buildings.
