The Oman Ministry of Tourism revealed that there has been a significant increase in the number of tourists who flocked to Dhofar during this year’s Salalah Khareef Festival, significantly boosting its ongoing efforts to position the Sultanate on the global tourism landscape by promoting the country as a popular international tourist destination.
Gulf Air celebrated its inaugural summer service to and from Salalah on June 15 as the airline resumed this popular route.
Gulf Air revealed its second destination for this year being Salalah, in Sultanate of Oman.
Oman Airports hosted photography exhibition Oman and The Sea at the departure terminal of Salalah Airport from July 24 – 28.
Oman Air, the national airline for the Sultanate of Oman, has increased its frequency of flights to Salalah, the principal city of the Dhofar region, to cater for the increase in demand from holidaymakers looking to experience the Khareef season.
