Marriott International has recently announced an exceptional year of growth across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) in 2025 with more than 230 organic signings representing over 31,000 rooms. Marriott also added 170 properties and nearly 24,000 rooms across EMEA in 2025, contributing to a 7.8 percent net rooms growth in the region. In 2024, the total number of passengers travelling by air in the EU was 1.1 billion, an increase of 8.3 percent compared with 2023 (973 million). In 2024, 93 percent of people aged 16-74 in the EU reported that they had used the internet during the previous three months.
