Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, has announced a collaboration with leading global media and entertainment company Warner Bros. Discovery on a documentary film that sheds light on the vital importance of combating the impact of climate change on coral reefs.

The responsible developer, formerly known as The Red Sea Development Company, is currently overseeing the creation of two luxury tourism destinations in the Kingdom. THE RED SEA and AMAALA prioritise delivering a positive impact for people and planet and are on track to place Saudi Arabia firmly on the global tourism map.

The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC), the developer behind ultra-luxury tourism destination AMAALA, has announced tangible progress across the development, with over 300 contracts signed to date, worth in excess of USD1.7 billion.

AMAALA, an ultra-luxury destination located along Saudi Arabia’s north western coast, has appointed hospitality industry veteran Victor Clavell to the role of chief operating officer.

AMAALA, the ultra-luxury destination located along Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast, has awarded the contract for excavation, backfilling, and earthworks to Duba-based startup, HASCO (Hasan Al-Harbi Corp.).

AMAALA, the ultra-luxury development situated along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, which is focused on integrated wellness and healthy living, signed a partnership agreement on September 27 with The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Centre Scientifique de Monaco and Oceanographic Institute.

The VIP signing ceremony took place at the Oceanographic Institute on the final evening of the Monaco Yacht Show and was attended by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Nicholas Naples, CEO, AMAALA, the AMAALA Advisory Board, select partners of the brand and esteemed guests.

The signing was followed by a VIP dinner prepared by Three-Star Michelin Star Chef Mauro Colagreco.

This follows a framework agreement signed last year at the Monaco Yacht Show to explore areas of mutual collaboration. Together the partners will work on oceanographic and marine life research and conservation initiatives to benefit the world’s oceans with four opportunities identified for joint projects: coral reef management, iconic species protection, Marine Protected Areas enforcement, and fighting plastic pollution.
