Minor Hotels appointed Dmitry Gontar as area director of e-commerce, Qatar.

Centara Hotels & Resorts has made its debut in Qatar with the launch of a spectacular new seaview hotel in Doha, the county’s rapidly expanding capital city.

Minor Hotels, owner of international hospitality brands like Anantara, Tivoli and Oaks, operating a portfolio of properties in Doha such as Banana Island Resort Doha and Souq Waqif Hotels, hosted a chocolate training workshop, in collaboration with renowned chocolate leader Felchlin from Switzerland.

Banana Island Resort, Qatar, has received the distinguished ISO 22000:2005 for food safety management system, making it first among the Minor Hotels to get this international certification.

Banana Island Resort, Qatar, launched its own local project for beekeeping through the creation of dedicated hives on the island, aiming to produce and provide self-sufficiency of natural, organic and fresh honey, to be offered to resort’s guests during breakfast.

Nestled amongst the newly established Souq on the shores of the Arabian Gulf, Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli launched on August 15 in Al Wakra, an up-and-coming district a 20-minute drive south of Doha.
