flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, on June 22 celebrated its inaugural service to Olbia, becoming the first UAE carrier to operate direct flights from Dubai. This marks the start of the carrier’s three-times weekly service to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB) as part of its seasonal operations, growing its network in Italy to five points including Catania, Milan-Bergamo, Naples and Pisa.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced additional frequencies to and from the Republic of Italy effective March 06. The airline’s flights to Milan will become daily with this latest frequency increase, while Rome frequency will increase to three weekly flights, in response to the growing demand on its Italian destinations.

flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, has announced today the resumption of its operations to Naples in Italy. The three weekly flights to Naples International Airport (NAP) will commence on July 01 and offer passengers from the UAE more options for travel this summer.

Air Cairo, via its official Facebook account, announced plans to commence a weekly Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, to Bologna, Italy, service on October 28; a weekly Hurghada, Egypt, to Milan–Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy, service on October 29; a weekly Luxor, Egypt, to Milan Malpensa service on October 29 and a weekly Sharm El Sheikh-Venice, Italy, service on November 02.
