Airport International Group welcomed the first Queen Bilqis Airways flight to Jordan flying passengers to and from Aden International Airport in Yemen - underscoring efforts to grow the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) airline network.

Registering an unprecedented record for previous October results, Airport International Group has announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) received 654,791 passengers (PAX) in October, indicating a significant 9,2 percent increase compared to October 2017.

Between January and September, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 6,542,539 passengers, indicating a 5,5 percent year-to-date (YTD) increase in passenger traffic compared with the same period last year, according to statistics released by Airport International Group.

Royal Jordanian (RJ) has operated 448 extra flights, including charter flights since the beginning of this summer, in addition to the airline’s scheduled flights.

The Executive Committee of the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) held its 82nd meeting in Amman on September 13, and was hosted by Royal Jordanian Airline (RJ).

Over the course of the first six months of this year (H1), Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 3,884,518 passengers, registering a 7.6 percent year-on-year increase, according to figures released by Airport International Group.
