According to Lodging Econometrics’ (LE) Construction Pipeline Trend Report for the Middle East, at the end of this year’s first quarter (Q1), the region’s hotel construction pipeline stands at 536 projects/138,915 rooms, unchanged by project counts and down nine percent by rooms year-over-year (YOY).

According to the latest Construction Pipeline Trend Report for the Middle East, research analysts at Lodging Econometrics (LE) state at the end of the second quarter (Q2) of this year, the hotel construction pipeline in the Middle East declined once again to 531 projects/152,448 rooms.

According to the latest published Construction Pipeline Trend Report for the Middle East from Lodging Econometrics (LE), the hotel construction pipeline in the Middle East declined again to 542 projects/156,921 rooms.

According to the latest published Construction Pipeline Trend Report for the Middle East, analysts at Lodging Econometrics (LE) state at the end of the third quarter  (Q3) of this year, the hotel construction pipeline in the Middle East declined again to 579 projects/168,042 rooms. The Middle East’s pipeline is down seven percent by projects and six percent by rooms year-over-year (YOY).  This is the fifth consecutive quarter the pipeline has declined since reaching its cyclical peak by projects in Q2 2019.

Analysts at Lodging Econometrics (LE) state in the first quarter of this year, the hotel construction pipeline in the Middle East decelerated slightly to 607 projects/172,182 rooms, down three percent and five percent respectively, year-over-year (YOY).  

Lodging Econometrics (LE) has recently released its 2019 year-end Global Construction Pipeline Trend Report, which compiles construction pipeline counts for every country, and city around the world.

Analysts at Lodging Econometrics (LE) state in the 2019 year-end report that the hotel construction pipeline in the Middle East stands at 618 projects/178,384 rooms, compared to 622 projects/181,813 rooms at the end of 2018.
