According to the latest data from UN Tourism, some 307 million tourists travelled internationally in the first quarter (Q1) of this year, about six million more than the same period of 2025.

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) concluded its 109th Executive Council session in Manama, Bahrain with members showing appreciation both for progress made under the 2018 institutional priorities and for the organisation’s financial stability and restructuring process.
